Planning Valentine's Day? Let Us Play Cupid

There are two people in life. Those who aren't prepared and those who are...

If you're thinking about what romantic gift to get Bae for Valentine's Day next week, it means you're probably in the latter.

Here's a few ideas for all you uber-prepared partners to show your significant other just how much you really love them.

(Champagne) Breakfast at Tiffany's

It's a classic for a reason....

There are a number of outdoor cinema showings on Valentine's Day including Breakfast at Tiffany's screening in Kings Park. Bring a blanket, some strawberries, brie and a bottle of your favourite for a classic French fizz for a real treat of an evening.

Kitchen Cocktails

If you're planning to spend a quiet evening at home with the person you love, you won't be the only couple. What is actually better than the company of your better half on the couch any way?

Try spicing up your evening with an activity like cocktail-making before you settle down to a lazy Punisher marathon on Netflix.

Gin and tonics are a great choice because your garnish options are endless.

Go shopping and pick up some ingredients you wouldn't typically mess with and then do exactly that.

Don't be afraid to have a bit of fun to some music in the kitchen with your partner as you madly chop up your fruit. (Just as long as you promise in advance to do all the cleaning up!)

Pinot & Prawns River Picnic

A nice bottle of wine, good view and a generous bucket of prawns is one of the more enjoyable things in life but lets face it, no one wants their date wrecked by the Freo Doctor down at a busy beach where your fur-baby isn't welcome.

Not to mention grass always trumps sand...

Opt for a more secluded evening down by the river foreshore instead as a great way to say "I love you".

Grab either a Pinot Noir or look for a nice Pinot Grigio to compliment the prawns.

Roses are red, violets are blue, we hope you have a loved up Valentine's, enough to make others spew.

We can help with what you choose, if you stop in for a visit we'll make sure next Wednesday you simply will not lose.
