Langmeil Winery is home to what is believed to be the oldest surviving shiraz vineyard in the world, The Freedom 1843. The Lindner Family have been immersed in Barossa’s culture of community, farming, food and wine for six generations. Their focus on sustainable viticulture in Barossa led to the evolution of the Langmeil Old Vine Garden suite of wines, and The Freedom 1843 Shiraz represents the pinnacle of this. Langmeil’s wines are traditionally made by hand, and the commitment to excellence of the Lindner family is unwavering. The wines of Langmeil are made to reflect the very best of Barossan viticulture.
Our red wines are all unfined and unfiltered, and therefore vegan friendly, and always have been. Our white wines will also be vegan friendly as of the release of the 2019 vintages.
