Making Wines People Love to Drink

West Cape Howe was founded in 1997 and soon became one of the most popular wine brands in Western Australia.  Over time it has acquired some of the oldest vineyard resources in the state, giving it un-equalled access to the best and most consistent quality fruit that the cool Great Southern wine region has to offer.

Our Cape to Cape range established our reputation for quality and consistency – year in year out; wines with clean, expressive fruit and compelling value for money.

We give you the promise of consistently over-delivering the fresh flavours of the Great Southern region at affordable prices.

Cabernet Merlot

The Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes were harvested separately, across the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The parcels were then aged for 12 months in a selection of new and older French oak before blending; the Cabernet selected for its blackberry and lightly drying tannins and the Merlot for its rich fruit cake and gentle acidity. The finished product has a great palate weight and length of flavour on the finish.

Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

Our SSB is blended from parcels of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc grapes from selected vineyards across the South West, picked when fresh and vibrant. Prompt processing at the winery with cool fermentation temperatures and early bottling, has preserved that freshness producing a delicate dry white with gorgeous palate weight and attractive, light herbaceous flavours. Its very delicate fresh snow pea characters and light floral notes are beautifully balanced by the moreish acidity, resulting in a wine that’s delicious to drink immediately.
