At Great Northern Brewing Company, established in Cairns in 1927, brewing beer to suit the unique northern Australian Climate. They’re all about real refreshment. Having already created an iconic Aussie beer, Great Northern is constantly trying to put Australia in a glass.

Great Northern Ginger Beer

• Type: Ginger Beer
• Analysis: 4% ABV
• Tasting notes: Made with the finest Queensland Ginger
• Colour: Light brown
• Palate: Mid sweetness. A bright Ginger with a hint of citrus aroma. Taste is gingery but not a lot of heat, citrus noticeable. Clean and crisp finish.
• Aroma: Sweet, ginger, fresh.
• Serving Suggestion: In a tall glass over ice with a wedge of lime. Best enjoyed at a time we like to call ‘Ginger Hour’. (Sunset)
• Food Match: Ginger Beer pairs well with fish, white meat and red meat

• Tasting notes: Fruity, clean, refreshing
• Colour: Light golden.
• Palate: subtle bitterness and light palate. Refreshingly clean and crisp finish.

• Serving Suggestion: Ice cold on a hot summers day!
• Food Match: Great with fish.
