Crafting something that endures for over 150 years takes time and character. Within the people and rich history of Jack Daniel’s, you’ll discover abundant stories and remarkable characters.

In 1864, Jack Newton Daniel left home and was taken in by Reverend Dan Call. At the Call family farm, he learned the art of whiskey making from the preacher and an enslaved man named Nathan “Nearest” Green. Jack later hired Nearest as the Jack Daniel Distillery’s head distiller, what we now call the Master Distiller. In 1864, Jack introduced the world to Old No. 7, his signature charcoal-mellowed Tennessee Whiskey.

As the new decade unfolded in 2020, a fresh era dawned at Jack Daniel’s with a new Master Distiller at the helm. Chris Fletcher assumed the prestigious role, guiding Mr Jack’s legacy and whiskey into the future.

Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey 700mL

Mellowed drop by drop through 10-feet of sugar maple charcoal, it is then matured in handcrafted barrels of our own making. And our Tennessee Whiskey doesn’t follow a calendar. It’s only ready when the tasters say it is. They judge it by the way it looks, by its aroma, and, of course, by the way it tastes. 

Jack Daniel’s Gentleman Jack 700mL

• Origin: Tennessee.
• Type: Tennessee Whiskey.
• Analysis: 40% ABV.
• Tasting notes: Liquorice-led palate with oak, cinnamon, and a touch of banana.
• Colour: Amber.
• Aroma: Spicy nose with caramel, charred oak and a little aniseed.

Jack Daniel’s Gentleman Jack is a smooth and sophisticated whiskey, perfect for enjoying neat or on the rocks. It has a distinctively rich flavour with notes of vanilla and spice. Gentleman Jack is a premium version of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey. The main difference is that it enjoys a ‘double mellowing’ as it’s filtered through charcoal before being filled into the barrel (the Lincoln County Process) and once again before it’s bottled.

Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Select Tennessee Whiskey 700mL

• Tasting notes: A sweet and full flavour with rye, fruits, spice and caramel elements.

• Aroma: Toasted oak, with hints of toffee sweetness, spice and smoke.

Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Select is bottled at 90-proof. It layers subtle notes of caramel and spice with bright fruit notes and sweet aromatics for a Tennessee Whiskey with a one-of-a-kind flavour. Every bottle of Single Barrel is as unique as the barrel it was born in. Some are more oaky, some are more sweet, and no two barrels are exactly the same.
