Founded in 1846 by founder Francesco Peroni in Italy’s north and was originally called Birra Peroni.
The combination of ideal climate, the ice and plentiful glacial water from the nearby mountains, and the quality of the local ingredients that allowed Francesco to create a truly distinctive, pale, refreshing and zestful beer.
In 1963, Carlo Peroni (Francesco Peroni’s son) created a superior, lighter, more refreshing lager that could be exported to the world with style and the brand exploded onto the world stage. There are 4 styles within the Peroni Nastro Azzuro range. Peroni Nastro Azzuro, Peroni Nastro Azzuro 3.5%, Peroni Nastro Azzuro Gluten Free (not available at Liquor Barons), and their latest brew, Peroni Nastro Azzuro Stile Capri.
