When you sip one of the famous Coopers Ales you are tasting over 150 years of brewing history, and they say this with pride. What makes Coopers’ ales so special is that they’re naturally conditioned. This is a centuries old brewing technique that has been handed down from one generation to the next, and only a handful of breweries in the world still have the skill and patience to undertake the process at scale. Natural conditioning is a term that describes a secondary fermentation that their ales undergo once they’ve been bottled or kegged. A small amount of yeast is added to the brew prior to packaging which consumes any residual sugars and oxygen, naturally carbonating the beer and increasing its alcohol content slightly.
Coopers Pale Ale The Original Pale Ale. Beware of pale imitations. Guaranteed to turn heads, this is the beer that inspired a new generation of ale drinkers. With its fruity and floral characters, balanced with a crisp bitterness, Coopers Pale Ale has a compelling flavour which is perfect for every occasion.
The ‘Pale’ is naturally conditioned in the bottle, can or keg. This traditional Coopers brewing method produces the trademark sediment that gives their ales a distinctive, fine cloudy appearance.
