Store - Liquor Barons Mosman Park

Liquor Barons Mosman Park has recently (Late 2015) been acquired by the Cooper family to continue a proud history of serving the West Australian public.

With Great Grandfather Alex Cooper having been licensee of the Albion Hotel in Cottesloe from the 1920s to the 1940s, Anthony Cooper continues the family's association with liquor a few hundred yards down the road at Liquor Barons Mosman Park.

While the store has a wine focus as a member of the Baron's On The Vine wine panel, Anthony and his staff are avid all round liquor enthusiasts! From heavenly local craft brews to devilish liqueurs & spirits Liquor Barons Mosman Park is a great place to visit.

Owner - Anthony Cooper

Anthony has been in the liquor trade in Western Australia for over 18 years and becomes the fourth generation of his family to be a licensee in WA. 

With long experience in both his family's liquor stores and fine wine store La Vigna, as well as 10 years on the road as a wine sales representative working with iconic Australian brands such as Penfolds, Wynns, Coldstream Hills and Devils Lair and a host of international labels. The breadth of Anthony's tastes and knowledge is broad and considered. He has enjoyed holding wine dinners and tasting events over the years for both the public and liquor trade and relishes conversations with customers on the joys and experiences wine has brought them.

This passion for delicious drink has led to travel to the vineyards of Coonawarra to work the 2014 vintage with the award winning team at Wynns Coonawarra Estate led by Chief Winemaker Sue Hodder and Viticulturist Allen Jenkins, winemaker Sarah Pidgeon & now Devil's Lair Chief Winemaker Luke Skeer. Getting a hands on appreciation of what it takes to capture the magic of the vineyard and take it from vine to cellar. With past & recent missions to wine regions across the length and breadth of the country experiencing the produce of century old icons to today's young guns making their marks with each new vintage.

Whatever your level of wine and liquor knowledge, from simply enjoying a glass with friends to hunting the rare and unique, Anthony and his staff will always be happy to help.
