CBCo Brewing Subheading
INDEPENDENT & AUSTRALIAN
Born in Margaret River in 2004, CBCo Brewing (formerly Colonial Brewing Co.) has evolved from a local favourite into a powerhouse of the Australian independent beer scene. Built on a philosophy of “uncomplicated” excellence, CBCo focuses on brewing beers that reflect the Australian lifestyle: approachable, high-quality, and designed for the moment.
Whether it’s a crisp lager for the coast or a bold IPA for the weekend, CBCo balances traditional techniques with modern innovation. With a commitment to consistency and a nod to their heritage, they continue to prove that great beer doesn’t need to be over-complicated, it just needs to be brewed well.

Quick Facts
- CBCo Brewing was one of the first breweries to open in the Margaret River wine region, all the way back in 2004.
- Starting as a microbrewery, they’ve gone from being stoked with selling 10 kegs a week, to now selling millions of litres of beers. If that’s not some growth to be proud of, we don’t know what is!
- CBCo’s Small Ale packaging design was a collaboration between Colonial Brewing Co and WA-based graphic designers Dune Haggar and Ian Mutch for Emergence Creative Festival in 2015.
