Spicy Margarita Subheading

Feeling hot, hot, hot! Spice up your life with this jalapeño margarita recipe.

DIFFICULTY  EASY   GLASS  ROCKS   GARNISH  CHILLI SALT RIM, JALAPEÑO

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 45mL El Jimador Tequila
  • 15mL Cointreau
  • 2 Jalapeños
  • 30mL lime juice
  • Garnish: salt rim (chilli flakes optional) and jalapeño

METHOD

  1. Rub the rim of glass with a lime wedge, coat it in salt and set aside.
  2. Cut one jalapeño into small slices and add into a shaker.
  3. Add El Jimador Tequila, Cointreau, lime juice and ice, then shake until well-chilled.
  4. Strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice.
  5. Garnish with a jalapeño.
