Miles From Nowhere is a highly successful family owned vineyard and winery located in the renowned Margaret River region in Western Australia consistently producing high quality, award winning handcrafted wines.
The winery's 2016 show results saw the winery receiving 27 Gold Awards through blind tastings across the last three years of international and national wine shows. That's more gold than Mr T would dare wear for one of the most highly acclaimed Australian vineyards.
The label’s name not only alludes to the geographic remoteness of the vineyard, but also recognises the historical origins of the founding family who’s forefathers had migrated to the Australian outback from their home in Ukraine over 100 years ago.
Bewildered by what they were confronted with in their new home country, they felt every bit - Miles from Nowhere.
Miles From Nowhere celebrates the beautiful surrounds in Margaret River and highlights the area’s unique climate characteristics which are brought forth through their distinct range of wines.
From old vines to steep slopes, loamy soils to deep gravels...
In open fields or nestled among the gum trees...
Miles from Nowhere's vineyards are sometimes dusty, sometimes lush, rugged, but always breath-taking and beautifully isolated.
It's this landscape which allows Miles from Nowhere to focus on crafting wine varietals which truly come alive and capture the soul of their surrounding terroirs.

Miles has received over 27 Gold Awards in blind tastings of their wines through national and international Wine Shows over the past three years.
A winner at the Cowra and Langton’s Margaret River Wine Show in 2017, Miles from Nowhere's 2016 Shiraz has a rich and spicy nose with dense dark cherry, blueberry and mixed berry fruits. With the previous year’s vintage taking Gold at the 2016 China Wine & Spirits Awards, this is a highly expressive wine with a great fruit concentration driven by mixed berries and dark, juicy cherry fruit. White pepper lingers on the finish.
Miles from Nowhere’s 2015 Cabernet Merlot received four Top Gold awards at the Royal Queensland, Cowra, Rutherglen and Margaret River Wine Shows in 2016, receiving five Gold awards in the same year at other national shows. It carries a lifted bouquet of dark plums and red berries that are combined with herbaceous notes of eucalypt, nutmeg, mocha and cedar oak. Mouth filling flavours of blackberries are balanced with nutmeg and vanilla spice. Silky smooth, yet firm tannins add great length to the finish of this medium bodied wine.
Two Trophies at the Royal Sydney Wine Show followed by the Top Gold at Cowra Wine Show 2017 was awarded to Miles from Nowhere’s 2017 Sauvignon Blanc. This succeeded another Top Gold received at the Margaret River Wine Show in 2016 for the previous year’s vintage. Intense aromas of ripe melons and tropical fruits with a hint of lime generating a unique freshness. The palate is lively and fresh with subtle minerality of vineyard expression, lime flavoured acidity and long lingering finish.
Sauvignon Blanc Semillion
A two time Double Gold award winner in the 2016 vintage at China’s 2017 and 2016 Wine & Spirits Awards once again reinforced this vineyard's dominance and popularity in international markets. A lovely balance of fruit, herbal and leafy notes. A light creaminess on the back palate presents a melon- like flavour on the finish.
